Heavy rains batter Central America's sugar crop
Central America, which is gearing up to begin the 2010/11 sugar harvest in November, has reported that some crops have been battered by heavy rains forcing Honduras to cut its forecast and leaving growers in other countries worried.
Tropical Storm Agatha raked over the region in May, killing nearly 100 people, flooding agricultural land and knocking out bridges and roads.
