Korea Feed Group Said to Buy 53,000 Tons of Corn in Private Transaction
The Korea Feed Association, South Korea’s biggest grain-buying group, purchased 53,000 metric tons of corn via private negotiations yesterday, according to two industry executives familiar with the deal. The group paid $270.25 a ton on a cost-and-freight basis for the grain due for arrival by Dec. 20, the executives said today, asking not to be identified because details of the trade are confidential.
