The Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine expects to obtain about 5 MMT of sunseed this year, reported Sergiy Melnyk, Deputy Minister of Agriculture. “We may get sunseed within a volume of 5 MMT”, he said. At the same time, he pointed out that the natural factor might influence this figure, because heavy losses will be faced if rains fall while harvesting this crop.
