Sweden: Grain harvest hit by continuing wet weather   Print  E-mail
Much of the spring-sown grain harvested in central Sweden has been poorer quality and is destined to be used as feed, according to Mikael Jeppsson at Lantmännen. The main reason for the poorer quality has been the wet autumn weather. Jeppsson estimates that 80-90% of the grain crop in central Sweden is still to be harvested and he is concerned about the continuing wet weather.
