Bulgaria. Milk producers support grain producers’ protest

Milk producers association in Bulgaria supported grain producers’ protest with a declaration. The document was read during the protest in the small garden between Sofia’s university and National Assembly, FOCUS News Agency reporter informed. Police has stepped up in the area and had closed up the region around the National Assembly.
Grain producers have also expressed their opinions about the government’s engagements towards their sector. Some of them said that manure’s price hiked. Price for a tone is BGN 670 compared to the last year when it was BGN 370. There were opinions about bread’s price, which haven’t been changed though the grain price decreased. One tone grain costs BGN 0.20 compared to the last year when it was BGN 0.60. There were people who had asked for Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev’s resignation due to his opinion towards Agriculture sector. There were no violations so far . Grain producers went into the National Assembly to meet with its spokesman Georgi Pirinski.
