Australian agricultural engineering company AGCO, have invested US$6 million into Russian tractor builders CTP, at their plant inVladimir Russia.
The joint venture, will produce around 400 tractor engines per week.
The Australian expertise, is vital to the rural sector of Russia, which is expanding at an unbelievable rate.
Martin Ricenhagen, the chairman of AGCO, believes that this initial venture, could pave the way for much more western company involvement, into the Russian agricultural and meat market.
