An oil extraction plant owned by the Bunge transnational corporation has been officially opened in the Voronezh Region.
 
Investment in the construction of the plant and the necessary infrastructure totalled $170mn.
 
The plant has an annual capacity of over 550,000 metric tons of sunflower seeds and will produce more than 200mn litres of the Oleina, Ideal and Maslenitsa brands of bottled sunflower oil annually.
 
The plant will also roll out 200,000 metric tons of cattle fodder a year.
