Titan-Kuban, a daughter unit of the Omsk-based (Siberia) oil and gas corporation Titan, plans to build two large agricultural complexes for grain deep processing in the Krasnodar region by spring 2011. The project is estimated at EUR 450mn (US$ 0.7bn).
The complexes will include land under crop, grain elevators, mills, combined feed plants, poultry farms, two pig complexes for 108,000 head each, refrigerated slaughter-house and a meat-processing plant. Grain processing will reach 1mn tons per year. Corn oil, high-maltose and confectionary syrup, combined feed, oil for food, carbon dioxide and bio-butylene will be produced from grain at the enterprises. Up to 60% of bio-butylene produced will be consumed by Titan group of companies and the remainder will be exported.
