Belarus to Ban Imports of Live Poultry, Feed and Additives from Sweden   Print  E-mail 
The Chief Veterinary Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus has imposed temporary restrictions on imports of live poultry, and products of its processing as well as of feed and feed additives from Sweden from November 10 due to registering of Newcastle disease in one of its regions, as Vitaly Masarnovsky, the State Veterinary Inspector of the Chief Veterinary Department of Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus said.
 
He pointed out that the measures were taken in order to protect the domestic market and prevent the disease spreading in the territory of the country.
