Cargill plans to expand Constanta port grain storage

Agribusiness giant Cargill Inc together with a local firm plan to invest 15 million euros ($20 million) to expand their grain storage capacity in the Black Sea port of Constanta.

The investment is expected to increase capacity to 110,000 tonnes from about 50,000 at present, daily Ziarul Financiar reported on Tuesday.

Joint venture Canopus Star, made of Cargill and local Transport Trade Services (TTS), exported 450,000 tonnes of agricultural commodities through the terminal last year. ($1 = 0.7580 euros).
