Export of Ukrainian agricultural products to Iraq planned to be 50-70% up - Prysiazhniuk

Ukraine is planning to increase export of agricultural products to Iraq by 50-70%. Primarily, the matter concerns grain crops, oil, meat, eggs and dairy products.

Agricultural Policy and Food Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk told a briefing in the Cabinet on Thursday, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We have received possibility to boost supplies of Ukrainian agricultural products to Iraq. It is planned to increase them by 50-70%, which proves an access of a wide range of agricultural products to the Iraqi market,” the Minister has said.

As reported, Iraq cancelled embargo for direct supplies of Ukrainian foodstuffs to its market, which will enable Ukrainian exporters to considerably economize on exports.
