Favorable conditions for grain development in Kazakhstan’s grain growing regions

According to Kazakhstani meteorologists, the agro-meteorological conditions were favorable for spring grains in most of the country’s main grain growing zone from July 10 to 20. The reason was good precipitation and soil moisture supply in the northern regions.
In the country’s northern, eastern and central regions, spring grains are mostly at the stages of ear formation to milk ripeness. Farmers continue treating them against weeds and pests.

Good soil moisture conditions developed in North Kazakhstan and Akmola regions from July 10 to 20; moisture shortages were mostly reported in the west of the country. Moisture condition is satisfactory in Kostanay and Karaganda regions and poor to satisfactory in the rest of the country.
