“Currently, Ukrainians have a wide choice of national fruits and berries at affordable prices. Since a great yield of fruits and berries will be harvested this year.

As of July 26, its volume exceeds the index of the same period of the previous year by 31%,” the government member noted.

According to him, over 25,600 tons of fruits and berries were gathered in Ukraine. Thanks to this volume, their supply is high on the market too. Therefore, the prices remain accessible for consumers.

The Minister also said that over three recent years, 22 modern refrigerators have been built with the state support. In total, today in Ukraine 145 refrigerators are functioning for the storage of fruits to the amount of 256,000 tons.
