02.08.2013

Corn futures dipped this week to their lowest levels since October 2010 as forecasters predicted the crop in the US Midwest would go through a key development phase in near-perfect weather conditions.

On the Chicago Board of Trade, corn for September delivery closed at USD4.89, after falling as low as USD4.88, the lowest price in nearly three years.
