Indonesia to build cattle breeding farms in Australia

05.08.2013

Indonesia’s State Logistics Agency (Bulog) is planning to build cattle breeding farms in Australia worth USD 600 million. The agency chose Australia because of the availability of large land. Bulog Director Sutarto Alimoeso said the agency will cooperate with a state-owned company focusing its business on cattle farming PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia to realise the project. “The breeding farms will produce feeder cattle and supply it to feedlots in Indonesia,” he said.
