Omsk to use Belarusian technology in dairy farming

Farmers of Omsk Oblast are introducing the Belarusian dairy farming technology, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.

The farms plan to produce milk of only top grade. Ten dairy farms have started on the modernization of the facilities. Belarusian equipment will be installed in the farms of the Tavricheskoye, Okoneshnikovo, Bolsherechie, Omsk, Pavlogradka and Poltavka districts of Omsk Oblast. For Siberia this is a unique experience. New technologies will allow agricultural companies to improve significantly the quality of products.

Such opportunities emerged after the visit of the delegation of Omsk Oblast to Belarus.

Reconstruction and modernization of dairy farms will cost almost RUB500 million. About 30% of the costs will be compensated to the farmers from the regional budget. It is planned that 20 agricultural enterprises in Omsk Oblast more will be supplied with the milking parlors next year.
