Prysyazhnyuk: Government should ensure every small and medium agricultural producer with modern equipment

Today company CLAAS and Kherson Machine-Building Plant released the first test combine harvesters. And the government plans to continue joint production of agricultural machinery together with several other international companies. This is the result of two year work of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy. This was announced today at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Mykola Prysyazhnyuk.

"The world-famous company CLAAS and Kherson Machine-Building Plant started production of highly productive combine harvesters. This is the result of two years work for the local assembly on the territory of Ukraine would attract foreign manufacturers, "- said the Minister. Mykola Prysyazhnyuk stressed that today in Ukraine all legal obstacles have been removed. Therefore, it is time for foreign companies to invest in agricultural production in Ukraine. The Minister also added that currently the negotiations on agreement with the company John Deer are coming to an end, negotiations with Italian and Finnish companies are going on. In addition, there will be joint production of tractors by "A.M. Makarov Yuzhny Machine-Building Plant" and Chinese companies Citic Inernational Corporation co. Ltd. and CHAINA YTO Inernational. Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said that the Ministry has set an ambitious goal – so that every small and medium farmer would have modern equipment.
