Ukraine is planning to increase supplies of agricultural products to Iran by 30% this year against the previous year.

Agricultural Policy and Food Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk told a press conference about this on Tuesday, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Ukrainian agricultural producers intend to increase shipment of agricultural products to Iran by 30% this year against 2012,” the government member has said.

He stressed that export of agricultural products also does not stop to Syria, even with taking into consideration the imposed embargo, since the matter concerns the food security of this Middle East country.
