Agroconsult forecasts stunning production number of 113.3 MMT for Brazilian soy production

A very favorable weather in most producing regions of soybeans in Brazil and the intensive use of technology has built the scenario for a record crop in the country with unexpected yields in the final stretch of harvest. The statement is from consultancy Agroconsult.

If confirmed, the output volume would be 18 percent higher than the previous season with an increase of the planted area of just two percent. The highest yield increases were seen in the state of Maranhão, Tocantins, Bahia, and Piauí, which had a drought last year. But still there will be record yields in Rio Grande do Sul, Minas Gerais, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Santa Catarina, Paraná and São Paulo. Bad conditions were just seen in the west of Mato Grosso.
