April USDА report: oilseed production estimates for Black Sea countries
In the April report the USDA raised its forecast for 2016/17 Black Sea sunseed production to 27133 KMT (up 322 KMT) due to an increase in Russian output to 10858 KMT, informs UkrAgroConsult.
The soybean harvest figure was, on the contrary, increased to 7514 KMT (up 35 KMT), also because of crop forecast adjustments for Russia. So, the soybean harvest in the country is estimated at 3134 KMT against 3099 KMT stated in the March report. Rapeseed production in the Black Sea region was left unchanged at 2721 KMT.
Further prospects of the Black Sea oilseeds/vegoils market will be discussed at the V International Conference “Black Sea Oil Trade”, which will take place on September 19, 2017 in Hilton hotel, Kiev, Ukraine.
