Asia. Iran and Azerbaijan to connect railway networks
Iran and Azerbaijan will unite their railway networks with the opening of a railway between Astara in Iran and Astara in Azerbaijan. The railway networks of Iran and Azerbaijan will be connected with the completion of Astara-Astara highway construction, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Astara-Astara railway is a part of the international transport corridor "North-South", which aims to integrate the transport and information highways of Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, India and Oman.
