Belarus boosted margarine output by 15%, mayonnaise production down 16%


According to the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Belarus, output of margarine and similar food products in the country increased to 1.5 KMT in October from 1.3 KMT in September. Margarine production in the ten months of 2016 (January-October) amounted to 13.1 KMT.

Belarusian production of mayonnaises and other emulsified sauces fell to 1.6 KMT in October from 1.9 KMT in September. Compared to October 2015, mayonnaise output is up 10.3% (+0.15 KMT). 15.4 KMT of mayonnaise was made in January-October.
