Belarus has banned the import of poultry from provinces of China

The Republic of Belarus from may 12, banned the import to the Republic of birds from the provinces of Hubei and Guangdong China because there was cases of birds with highly pathogenic avian influenza

According to the report on the website of the Department of veterinary and food supervision Ministry of agriculture of Belarus, the decision is made on the basis of information of the International epizootic Bureau.

The ban applies to imports into the Republic from these regions live poultry, hatching eggs, wild, zoo and circus susceptible animals, poultry meat, egg powder, mélange, albumin and other food-products, chicken eggs, fluff and feathers. In addition, the ban affects feeds and feed additives from birds, feed and feed additives of vegetable origin, hunting trophies, as well as used equipment for transportation of poultry products, contents, slaughter and cutting of poultry.

At the same time canceled all previously issued permits for the importation to Belarus of such products from the provinces of Hubei and Guangdong.

Napominm, earlier Belarus has imposed a similar ban on the import of poultry from some regions of Europe, the Baltic States, Ukraine, Russia.
