Belarus. Spring crops sown on 9% of planned area


As of March 24, spring planting in Belarus was complete on 84.1 Th ha, i.e. 8.97% of the forecast area. At the same time, growers are provided with seeds of cereals and pulses to 128% of their need.

Soil preparation for planting early spring cereals and pulses continued all over the country. A quarter of the planned area is already prepared, informs UkrAgroConsult.

Fertilization of winter crops started ahead of the multi-year average time. Overall, Belarusian farmers have fertilized 664.8 Th ha, or 49.4% of the total planted area.
