Belarus. Winter rapeseed is in good and fair condition
Topsoil drying has intensified in the north-eastern half of Belarus over the last three days. This enabled farmers to quicken field work and planting of early spring crops. The topsoil is still too wet in much of Vitebsk region and in the north of Mogilev region.
According to the latest visual observations, the top 10-cm soil layer is moderately wet in most of Belarus. This facilitates active field work and planting of spring crops. The soil temperature at a 10-cm depth averages chiefly +7..+10°C, reaching +12°C in the south, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Winter rape is in good and fair condition. Stem growth has begun in its plants in southern and central parts of Belarus.
