Black Sea wheat remains competitive in the world export market

Some price decrease was seen in the export market of Russian high-protein wheat in view of slackening trade and falling importer demand. On average, export price for 12.5%-protein wheat in both deep-water and small ports closed the week down $1-2/MT FOB, October-November delivery, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Some price upturn was reported in the market of 11.5%-protein wheat, while a more substantial growth occurred in the feed wheat market, which closed the week up roughly $3-4/MT FOB (deep-water ports, October-November delivery).

Black Sea wheat remains competitive in the world export market.

Some slowdown in exports is observed in October against September, but the current pace of shipments, even in October, is still somewhat faster than last year.
