Buenos Aires Cereal Exchange: Soybean harvest output in Argentina will be 53.5 million metric tons

The Buenos Aires Cereal Exchange has issued a new estimate this morning and the new output perspective for soybeans is 53.5 million metric tons of volume. The previous estimate was at 56 million metric tons. According to the exchange, the losses due to the recent rains and fires will be lower than one million acres of surface. The losses are similar to those estimated by the Ministry of Agribusiness of Argentina.

By contrast, the Rosario Board of Trade has estimated this week that the oilseed production would count 52.9 million metric tons (lower than the previous projection of 54.4 MMT) mentioned also the driear areas in the south of the Buenos Aires province and excessive moisture in the center of Santa Fe.
