Bulgaria boosted grain exports via the port of Varna


According to current information of Bulgaria’s Ag Ministry, this season sees a substantial rise in grain exports via the port of Varna, reports UkrAgroConsult.

1.442 MMT of Bulgarian wheat was exported via Varna in the 2017/18 season by January 14, or 10.1% more than at the same time last year. At the time, the port handled 88.7 KMT of export barley (up 537.3% year-on-year) and 296.3 KMT of export corn (up 95.3%).
