Bulgaria. Domestic sunseed and rapeseed prices increased last week

Domestic purchase prices in the Bulgarian oilseed market closed the reporting week with an increase. Buyers increasingly compete for available oilseed volumes, particularly in the rapeseed market. The pressure of a rapid pace of sunseed harvesting, which is 5.5% ahead of last year, has eased.

As of mid-October, sunseed and rapeseed exports were down 0.5% and almost 31% year-on-year, respectively, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Purchase prices for sunseed increased to BGN 543/MT that is equivalent to USD 327/MT (up USD 1/MT), while those for rapeseed are up at BGN 677/MT (USD 408/MT, or up USD 6/MT).
