Bulgaria. Large supply continued to pressure domestic grain prices

During last week decline in purchasing prices was observed on domestic grain market of Bulgaria, reports UkrAgroConsult. Prices for both milling and feed wheat are under the pressure of large supply in the market, although the pace of trading and purchasing activities remains quite high.

Domestic corn prices have decreased last week, losing the increase during the previous week. Higher trading activity in new crop corn was not seen on the market. Most regions in Bulgaria have already started corn harvesting, but supply remains limited. The average yield in the country is still lower than in 2015.

Export corn price decreased, pressured by the global trends. Over the reporting week export price of Bulgarian corn lost in average USD 4/MT and ranged within USD 165-167/MT FOB for October-November delivery.
