Bulgaria obtained high wheat crop


Bulgaria finished wheat and barley harvesting. According to current information of the Bulgarian Ag Ministry, barley was harvested from 130.5 Th ha (99.8%) by August 24. Farmers got 620.4 KMT with an average yield of 4.75 MT/ha, or 7.5% higher than at the same time last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

By the reporting date, wheat was harvested from 1095.6 Th ha (99.6% of the plan) with a crop of 5750.6 KMT and an average yield of 5.25 MT/ha (up 10.5% year-on-year).
