Bulgaria. Spring grain crops sowing


According to Bulgaria’s Ag Ministry, spring barley had been sown on 3.05 Th ha by May 11 that is 10.4% more than at the same time last year (2.76 Th ha). Corn for grain had been planted on 386.96 Th ha compared to 384.38 Th ha by the same time last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

In addition, peas were sown on 26.51 Th ha as of the above-mentioned date – three times as much as last year (9.55 Th ha) – and oats were seeded on 9.74 Th ha (up 31.3% from last year’s 7.42 Th ha).
