Bulgaria started to harvest sunflower and soybean


According to Bulgarian AgMin by August, 25 sunflower had been threshed from 39.9 Th ha (5.3% of the planned 758.1 TH ha) and harvested 72.1 KMT of sunflower with average yield 1.81 MT/ha. Harvesting pace is higher than last year, but yield is 5.2% lower than last year.  

Soybean had been threshed from 0.4 Th ha or 2.7% from the planned 14.5 Th ha. 0.9 KMT had been obtained with average yield  - 2.34 MT/ha. Harvesting pace is slower than last year, but productivity is 58.1% higher. This year harvesting area is 43.1% lower than last year.
