Bulgaria. Sunseed market weakened last week

Following a two-week price upturn, the Bulgarian sunseed market changed its trend last week. This encouraged farmers to intensify sales of the product. Ultimately, additional volumes arrived in the market and alleviated competition among buyers. The bearish factor was a weakening national currency against the U.S. dollar, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Sunseed price closed the week down BGN 2/MT at BGN 553/MT that is equivalent of USD 347/MT (down USD 7/MT).

The rapeseed market trade is frozen as no real supply of the commodity is available.
