Bulgaria. Wheat and barley harvesting is almost completed


The wheat and barley harvest in Bulgaria is drawing to an end. According to current information of the Bulgarian Ag Ministry, barley was harvested from 130.2 Th ha (99.6%) by August 10. Farmers got 619.1 KMT with an average yield of 4.75 MT/ha, or 7.5% higher than at the same time last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

By the reporting date, wheat was harvested from 1085.6 Th ha (99% of the plan) with a crop of 5710 KMT and an average yield of 5.26 MT/ha (up 10.7% year-on-year).
