Bulgarian farmers will not finish winter grains sowing in the optimal terms

Winter crops vegetation conditions improved, reports UkrAgroConsult. September soil moisture deficit slowed down winter rapeseed development. Last week winter rapeseed plants were observed at the stage of 1-2 leaves formation. Sprouts emerged at the sowings of winter wheat and barley sown early in October.

After October, 10 conditions of winter grain crops sowing are expected to improve. Long term drought prevented farmers from completion of seasonal agricultural works in optimal terms. As a result farmers of many Northern regions won't manage to finish winter grains sowing in the optimal terms.
