Bulgarian wheat is in demand from EU


Mixed price trends were seen on Bulgarian grain crops domestic market last week, reports UkrAgroConsult. There were no significant changes in milling wheat price market. Export prices for 11.5% milling wheat were supported by good export pace, remaining at the level of USD 167-169/MT FOB for October delivery. Bulgarian wheat is in demand from the EU and other countries.

Stabilization of purchasing feed wheat and barley prices was observed in feed grain market, but there is increase in price spread in port regions and in the rest of the country. But the pace of trading and purchasing activities remained moderate on the domestic market.

Purchase prices for corn increased over the week. After a sharp decline in prices during previous week farmers reduced corn supply. Demand from processors supported domestic corn market during the reporting week. Corn trading activity was rather low.
