Bulgarian wheat prices were supported by high export pace

During the week there were no significant price changes observed on Bulgarian domestic wheat market. Trading and purchasing activity remains active on milling as well as on feed wheat market. Despite decline in wheat prices on global markets, prices for Bulgarian wheat are supported by the high export pace.

A slight increase in demand prices was seen in Bulgarian barley market. Barley stocks are getting low quickly at the background of decrease in production in 2016 as well as active export shipments. Bulgarian traders have already sold 50% of all barley export potential.

Corn has also continued to increase in price on the domestic market. The price was supported by higher demand for corn at the end of the season from the export-oriented companies at the background of reduced stocks in the country and low supply from producers.
