Bulgarian winter crops resumed growth

Higher air temperatures in the south-west of Bulgaria from February 21-27 have provoked resumption of growth processes in winter cereals (barley). Air temperatures rose to +19-20˚C at that time.

Growth resumption in winter crops is observed mostly in southern parts of the country. Winter wheat and barley are at the three-leaf and tillering stages, reports UkrAgroConsult.
