CBOT wheat prices turned upward last week

Over the period under review (April 21-27), CBOT wheat prices turned upward (+1.8%), reports UkrAgroConsult.

Rains in the US producing regions of winter wheat contributed to the accumulation of soil moisture, but crop conditions remained unchanged - 54% were good and excellent (59% last year).

The further price growth was limited by low sales of the US old-crop wheat (during April 13-20), which declined to 62 KMT. That was the minimum volume since June 2016. Soft wheat (SRW) exports are currently 24% lower than during the same period last season.
