Celeres: Brazil would produce 113.8 MMT of soybeans as harvest is about to finish


Celeres consultancy released today (05.08) its projection for soybean production in Brazil and says that the harvest already reached 99 percent of the surface. The estimate for output says that the volume would be 113.8 million metric tons, which is 17 percent higher than last year.

For corn, the consultancy maintains a forecast for the summer production of 33.8 million metric tons (also 17 percent higher than 2016). In the meantime, the production estimate for the winter crop remained the same at 63.92 million metric tons. The total output for the cereal would be nearly 97 million metric tons.
