ChemChina will buy the concern Syngenta for $43 billion


The transaction will be closed in the second quarter of 2017

China national chemical Corporation ChemChina agreed to acquire the Swiss group Syngenta for $43 billion in February 2016.

In April of this year, the merger was approved by the U.S. Federal trade Commission (FTC), the European Commission, the Federal Commission of economic competition (COFECE), Mexico, and the Ministry of Commerce people's Republic of China (MOFCOM).

The closing of the transaction expected in the second quarter of 2017. After its completion will create a company with a market capitalization of more than $100 billion and the world's largest business in the field of agricultural chemistry.
