China expressed confidence to 17 more Ukrainian sunflower meal exporters


The General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC) has granted 17 Ukrainian sunflower meal producers the right to export their product to China, according to a report of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

The terms and conditions for bringing sunflower meal from Ukraine to China are provided for by a Protocol on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Requirements, reports UkrAgroConsult.

As a reminder, the first cargoes of Ukrainian sunflower meal were shipped to China in December 2017, once a list of the first Ukrainian exporters had been approved. Altogether, Ukraine exported over 133 KMT of sunflower meal to China in December-May 2017/18 – this represented 3.7% of the product’s total exports.
