Corn harvesting in Bulgaria is 59% complete

According to current information of Bulgaria’s Ag Ministry, they harvested corn from 245.2 Th ha by September 28 (59% of the projected 418.2 Th ha). The crop amounted to 1424.8 KMT with an average yield of 5.81 MT/ha that is up 12.8% year-on-year. The harvest progress lags 9.7% behind last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Also, planting of winter wheat and barley began in some regions of Bulgaria. 60.9 Th ha was sown to winter wheat and 4.32 Th ha to winter barley by the reporting date.
