Corn harvesting in Bulgaria is 92% complete

According to current information of Bulgaria’s Ag Ministry, corn was harvested from 386.1 Th ha by November 02 (92.3% of the planned 418.1 Th ha). Its crop amounted to 2252 KMT with an average yield of 5.83 MT/ha that is up 10.6% year-on-year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Farmers have started sowing winter cereals all across Bulgaria. As of the reporting date, winter wheat in Bulgaria was planted on 938.2 Th ha (up 13% from last year), winter barley on some 90.1 Th ha (down 12.2%).
