Corn planting reaches 46% of surface in southern-most state of Brazil


With favorable climate conditions, the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul has advanced 10 percentage points on corn planting and reached 46 percent of the surface, which is estimated at 1.9 million acres.

The Rural Institute of Technical Assistance of Rio Grande do Sul reveals that so far there is a low level of plagues incidences and the application of fertilizers continue.
