Corn stocks in Ukraine 44% up year-on-year


According to current information of the State Statistics Service, Ukraine’s reserves of grains and pulses totaled 22.08 MMT as of February 1, 2017 that is 18.8% more than at the same time last year (18.58 MMT), reports UkrAgroConsult.

Wheat stocks decreased 12.5% to 6.98 MMT against 7.98 MMT reported as of February 1, 2016. Corn stocks are 43.8% up from last year, amounting to 12.24 MMT (8.51 MMT).

Barley inventories are still 29.6% up from last year, amounting to 1.72 MMT (1.33 MMT).
