Corn stocks in Ukraine 53% up year-on-year


According to the State Statistics Service, Ukraine’s reserves of grains and pulses totaled 19.21 MMT as of March 1, 2017 that is 18.7% more than at the same time last year (16.19 MMT), reports UkrAgroConsult.

Wheat stocks decreased 17% to 6.05 MMT against 7.29 MMT reported as of March 1, 2016. Corn stocks are 53% up from last year, amounting to 10.61 MMT (6.94 MMT).

Barley inventories are 24% up from last year, amounting to 1.59 MMT (1.28 MMT).
