Dvorkovich: the government does not intend to return the export duty on wheat

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said that the question of the abolition of export duties on wheat is not a priority at the moment

"This is not a top priority. No plans to introduce export duties no. On the contrary, we need to encourage maximum exports. We have a good enough harvest, so we seek additional mechanisms to increase exports, not containment", — said Dvorkovich.

Earlier, the head of the Russian grain Union (RGU) Arkady Zlochevsky said that the Ministry of agriculture has sent an appeal to the government to consider abolition of export duty on wheat.

In turn, the press service of the Ministry of agriculture was unable to confirm this information.
