Egypt purchased Russian and Romanian wheat in the first tender this year

On January 14 Egypt purchased 235 KMT of milling wheat from Russia and Ukraine with shipment during February 15–25, 2017 at the average price of USD 199.81/ MT C&F, reports UkrAgroConsult. The price at the previous tender equaled USD197.48/MT C&F.

The purchase included:

– 60 KMT Romanian wheat from Cerealcom at $200.35/MT C&F ($189.65/MT FOB with a freight rate $10.70/MT);

– 60 KMT Russian wheat from Grainbow (Southern Center) at $198.89/MT C&F ($187.5/MT FOB with a freight rate $11.39/MT);

– 60 KMT Russian wheat from Olam at $199.34/MT C&F ($187.95/MT FOB with a freight rate $11.39/MT);

– 55 KMT Russian wheat from Glencore at $200.64/MT C&F ($188.34/MT FOB with a freight rate $12.3/MT).

At the previous tender, on December, 29 Egypt bought 235 KMT of milling wheat from Russia and Ukraine with shipment during February 1–10, 2017.
